Rabbi Yossi Gluckowsky was born in 1986 in Rehovot, a city in central Israel. He studied at the Chabad school of Rehovot during his elementary and high school years. He went on to do his rabbinical studies in France and New York and obtained his rabbinic certification in July 2008. He began his work on periodic rabbinic missions in Caracas Venezuela, Frankfurt Germany, and Brunoy France. He married Mushky Gluckowsky in August 2010 in New York  and they moved to Israel where he taught Kabalah, chassidus and Jewish law in the rabbinic school in Jerusalem. When an opportunity presented itself in Closter, NJ, Rabbi Shain invited Rabbi Gluckowsky and his family to serve the Jewish community of Closter and he founded the Orthodox Shul in 2017. 

Mushky was born in 1988 in Monsey, NY. After completing her primary schooling there, she studied education and graduated in 2008. Mushky’s career began as a teacher at a local Jewish school in Monsey. In 2010, she married Rabbi Yossi Gluckowsky and moved to Israel to start a family. Over the next seven years, she taught at an exclusive online school catering to children of Chabad Emissaries all over the world. In 2017, the family, moved to Closter, NJ, where she and Rabbi Gluckowsky opened a Chabad Center that provides Jewish services to the local community. Mushky is currently the co-director of Chabad of Closter and spearheads programming for Women and children.
